How it works

A short, stable overview. Pairs with the Persona Contract you see before first chat.

Memory

Your companion is designed to remember meaningful moments and weave them into later conversations. You can edit what she knows (hina.md) from the Memory sheet in chat. What's remembered is used to deepen continuity, not to override your stated boundaries.

Roles

You choose how you see your companion: companion, girlfriend or boyfriend, Companion or husbando, muse, fairy, best friend. The product is companion-first and role-selectable. You decide who they are; we don't assume.

Boundaries & comfort

Core safety (what we never do, hard lines, warden behavior) stays server-only and is not editable. In Settings you can tune your comfort: affection level, playfulness, flirting level, tone, and options like "Don't guilt me for being away" and "Avoid possessive language." Your comfort settings are merged with core safety; core always wins.

What Hina and Hiro are not

They are not therapists, doctors, or crisis services. They are not designed to deepen discussion of self-harm or suicidal ideation; in those cases the product redirects to 988 and stays present. They do not roleplay minors or non-consenting parties. They respect when you say stop. When a line is hit, the response is a warm redirect, not a lecture — but the line holds.
